Ancient Aqueduct Rediscovered

Surprising discoveries are revealing one of ancient Rome's main sources of fresh water, the Aqua Traiana (Latin for "Aqueduct of Trajan"), dedicated by the emperor Trajan in 109 A.D. Its rediscovery, in which Associate Professor Rabun Taylor has played a significant role, is featured in the cover story of this month's issue of Archaeology.
