How do I archive my chat sessions?
Archiving is not an automatic feature in this version of Blackboard. An Instructor must start this process using the Record menu which is located at the top right hand corner of the Collaboration tool. The table below details the buttons that appear on the Record menu.
Why is the Chat tool so slow?
The Virtual Classroom is a Java applet that may take as long as 20 to 30 seconds to load initially. If you are using an older computer (three years old or more), it may take even longer.
However, once you are past this initial loading process, you should get better performance for the remainder of your chat session.
