How can I copy my entire course from one semester to another?

You can copy over course materials from a current or previous course site to a new course site. You must be an instructor of record in both courses to use this feature. Teaching Assistants are unable to perform this function.

We have upgraded to a new version of Blackboard for summer and fall 2007. Courses will be available on a new server.

This tutorial will show you how to copy materials from previous courses into your summer and/or fall courses. The steps may be different from the steps that you have been used to doing over the past few years.

If you are trying to copy material from a summer 2007 course to another summer or fall course use the Course Copy link in the Control Panel.

How can I copy over a specific document or folder?

Documents and folders can be easily copied from course to course in Blackboard. Once an item or folder is created, you will see a list of options to the right. These options include Modify, Manage, Copy, and Remove. Use the Copy button to move your items.

Please see the note above regarding summer and fall 2007 courses.
