How do I find my course in UT Direct?
You do not need to know the URL for your class Web site. You can use UT Direct to see that course's Blackboard Web site automatically through UT Direct by following the instructions below.
-
From the UT Direct homepage, scroll down until you see a box labeled Related Categories and Services on the right side.
-
Click on the link labeled Blackboard.
-
Click the Login button. Unless it has been more than 30 minutes since you logged in to UT Direct, you will not be prompted again for your UT EID and password. If you are prompted, simply type them in again.
-
When your course list page comes up, any courses available though Blackboard that you are registered for will appear there.
How do I find my course without UT Direct?
If you are not able to find your course using UT Direct, you can access your site using the steps below.
- Use your browser to connect to http://courses.utexas.edu/
- Log in with your UT EID.
- From the Courses tab, click on a link in the Course List, which should show all the course links you are authorized to use as either a student or an instructor.
If your Course List appears to be incomplete or "out of sync" with your official registration or class assignments, the synchronization delay is probably only temporary.
