How do I turn my WYSIWYG text editor on?
Blackboard's WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) text box editor provides a simple way to create formatted content in any text area. The editor works with both Mac and PC computers. Safari is the only browser that doesn't display all the options.
To turn the editor on, navigate back to your My Blackboard page and click the Personal Information link under the Tools section located to the left. Next select Set Visual Text Box Editor Options. From here you can set the availability of this feature. This will enable it for all courses/organizations you have access to. You can disable it at any time.
Why am I having problems typing information in a text box?
Perhaps you have upgraded to Internet Explorer 7 or Vista. If this is the case, please find more information about how to fix this on the problems with text editor web page.
