Tips
It is a good teaching practice to clearly communicate assignments and behavior expectations (Scott, 1995).
Example: Discussion guidelines
- Postings must be clearly responding to someone else
- Postings must be moving the conversation forward or starting a new thread
- Postings will be worth a certain number of points
