Students engage in active learning by attending to relevant incoming information, organizing selected information into coherent mental representations, and integrating mental representations with other knowledge (Mayer, 1999).

  • Use BB to layout the structure of your course and present different ways of looking at problems
  • Spend more time on explaining connections instead of details
