Blackboard allows for the electronic transmission of feedback as quickly as instructors deem desirable, and instructors can provide personalized feedback to each student in a timely manner (Newlin & Wang, 2002).

Using the Gradebook, the instructor can save time and can provide immediate feedback to students.
