Blackboard, Inc. is sponsoring two e-learning community contests with $75,000 in total prizes.

- Purpose: To provide incentives and resources for faculty to use e-Learning technology effectively
- Eligibility: Open to individuals and teams from all current Blackboard customers
- Awards: Five prizes of $5,000 each for winning courses
- Application deadline: January 25, 2005
- Winners announced: Blackboard Users' Conference (April 12-14, 2005)

- Purpose: To increase the discourse on e-Learning in a way that is useful to a wide audience of users
- Eligibility: Open to teams from all current Higher Ed and International Blackboard clients
- Awards: Two grants of $25,000 each to fund research
- Submission deadline: January 25, 2005 (extended)
