The Vertebrate Skull: an Interactive Tutorial on CD-ROM

Project Description:
This project is designed to facilitate students' understanding of cranial anatomy and relationships of major vertebrate groups. It provides an openly accessible resource for students enrolled in Geological Sciences courses. Access to physical specimens is limited; this project allows students to examine these materials outside the lab and at their own pace. The results of this project will be incorporated into larger undertakings, including the "Morphology of the Vertebrate Skeleton" course and cooperative work with other Universities.
