Title:
Enhancing the Classroom Experience on Substance Abuse, Ethnicity, and Culture: Continuation

Project Description:
Project participants redesigned a Web site to supplement the textbook Ethnicity, Culture, and Substance Use Disorders for each of five major chapter sections (American Indians, African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, and Jewish Americans), adding multi-media materials such as audio interviews as well as quizzes, graphics, textual information, and resource links.



 

 


Title:
Memories of Older Adults: A Risk and Resilience Perspective

Project Description:
To continue building a film library for faculty members in the School of Social Work to use in classes on resiliency, project participants developed DVDs for four interviews with prominent older adults in Austin from four ethnic groups, including African-American, Latino, and Asian-American.
