Title:
An Instructional Database for Material and Construction Assemblies

Project Description:
This project developed a set of 3D digital models and animated scripted tutorials to document roof, wall and floor assembles for the following materials: concrete, masonry, wood, steel and composites. These interactive materials will be used both in the Construction 1 classroom and Materials Lab to communicate complex material assemblies and their sequence of fabrication.




 

 


Title:
Web and Visual Resources for Community Development

Project Description:
This project produced a Web site to support teaching a graduate community development seminar. The Web site audience includes current and prospective students, and interested community members or course project partners. Content includes 1) historical information, current resource materials and links for each course topic and 2) case study materials, including images and audio interviews, about the particular cities or neighborhoods where students have carried out community-based research projects. Project work centered on designing the Web site, organizing and posting the visual images and documents.
