Importing and Syncing your Blackboard Class Roster into CPS
In this tutorial you will learn how to import your class roster using the basic PC or Mac version of CPS. Screen shots are from the PC software. The process is similar when using CPS for Power Point. (See the CPS for Power Point tutorial for instructions).
- On
the Classes tab, click on the
Import icon. The Import Class Wizard appears.
2. Choose Blackboard from the list of class types and click Next.
3. Enter your CPSBlackboard Connection Username
and Password and choose your institution from the dropdown menu.
4. Select the class you wish to import from the list of available classes. To select all classes, click box next to the Select All option so that a checkmark appears. Click Next to continue.
5. Click Done.
6. The roster of students who have registered their clickers appears in the "Prepare" tab of the database file.
7. Sync your class roster with Blackboard automatically when CPS starts or manually sync the class when additional students have registered their clickers.
