CPS Student Response Pad Registration Process
In this tutorial you will learn how to activate your CPS pad. You will
need a RF Gen 2 pad (clicker) and a credit card or check to complete the
enrollment process. Clickers can be purchased
at the University Co-Op for $20. The cost to activate the clicker for
all of your classes is $12.50 per semster. There are no additional fees
after ther third semester of use.
- Log in to your course in Blackboard and select Course Tools. Do NOT
go to the eInstruction site to register your pad.

2. Select the link to CPS Connection.

3. Click on "Register Clicker or Update your serial number".
4. a) Turn on your clicker. Locate the serial number displayed on the
clicker's LCD screen.
b) Enter all of the numbers - including the
"r" - in the first text box.
c) Leave the "Enrollment/coupon Code" field
blank if you were not issued an enrollment code from your textbook publisher
d) Read the refund policy and select the check box
to confirm your acceptance.
e) Enter the CPS user name and password you selected
when you enrolled in your first CPS class. Create and make a note of
your selection if you have never enrolled in a CPS class.
DO NOT use your UTEID and
password!
f) Click on Submit
5. Follow the wizard to pay your enrollment fee. The cost is $12.50
per semester for all of your CPS classes. This fee is not required after
using CPS for three semesters.
You may elect to pay $35 for a lifetime code.
6. Your registration is complete after payment is acknowledged. For
some courses an error screen may appear even though you successfully
registered.
