Participants in this year’s Innovative Instructional Technology Awards Program were honored at the annual showcase on April 27, 2010 in the Texas Union Ballroom.

Featuring exemplars of instructional innovation, IITAP recognizes and rewards faculty achievements in shaping technology to enhance teaching and learning. The annual IITAP event celebrates outstanding faculty initiatives to make teaching more effective, relevant, and efficient by incorporating novel teaching tools and learning resources.

CTL invites faculty and faculty-student/staff teams to submit entries for IITAP each year. Share innovative instructional materials that you have developed specifically for UT Austin courses. IITAP staff will assist you in preparing your entry, which should demonstrate how your innovative approach improved teaching and promoted students’ knowledge and skills. Our staff will also produce a demonstration video for you.

Eligible instructional materials must have been used for at least one semester, with documented outcomes. Finalists, selected from among all entries by a faculty review panel, will be judged by a panel including previous IITAP award recipients, members of the Academy of Distinguished Teachers, students, and members of the New Media Consortium.
