Gathering product analysis data
Collect only information relevant to your purpose. For a large program, you may not need to examine all client products. Instead, you might randomly sample 20% of a particular product, such as a final presentation. Samples of client products should be drawn the same way you would draw a sample of individuals from a larger population. [more about sampling].
Examples of client products to be included in a product analysis:
- journals
- reports
- presentation materials
- notes
- projects
- writings
