STEP 6. Administer the survey

Before assigning the survey, explain why it is being administered and discuss issues of confidentiality and anonymity. Specify a time frame for taking the survey; seven to ten days is usually sufficient. The OCA's Assign this survey function enables you to set start and end dates to complete the survey. Response rates for online surveys improve if you give periodic reminders.
