What is blogging?

Blogging—a contraction of “Web logging”—is a method of posting information to an on-line diary. A blog can easily be transformed into a virtual community by turning on a “comments” feature, creating a forum suitable within a classroom environment.  Improved Web side integration and management blogging software facilitates one-click inclusion of photographs, podcasts, webcasts, and other media without the need for HTML or more sophisticated programming skills.  Listen to a DIIA podcast that explains all about blogging and how it can enhance the teaching and learning experience in your classes.
