Video kits

In order to check out the video kits you must:

1. Complete the following DMS courses:
   • Introduction to Shooting Digital Video and Video Kit Orientation
   • Introduction to Digital Audio
2. Schedule a 10-minute appointment with DMS staff to verify that you understand how to use the equipment and obtain a certification card.  Contact the lab to make an appointment (475-6364).
3. Take the card to the AV library service desk, located on the third floor of FAC, for a 3-day check out. Bring your ID.

Note: We will not be providing DV tape or AA batteries (for the wireless microphone system). To use our cameras we require that you use Panasonic DV tapes, which are available at the University Co-op for $4.99 each.
