Digital Media Services Pilot Evaluation (1.1 MB PDF)
Tomoko Traphagan, Ph.D.

Following a prototype stage in fall 2006, the Digital Media Service (DMS) program to
assist faculty members to incorporate digital media assignments in their courses was
piloted, with 14 courses in spring 2007. The present evaluation addressed three areas: (a)
consideration of the capacity of present DMS resources and of likely future demand (b)
the reactions of participating faculty members and students, and (c) the effectiveness of
digital media assignments and their logistic support.
