eGradebook

eGradebook

The eGradebook Tool allows Instructors of record and their Designees to create a gradebook made up of assignments and to post the grades in a confidential format, in accordance with the UT Student Confidentiality Policy.

Other features include:

  • Students can only access their own grades, using their UT EIDs.
  • Instructors can use comments to give feedback to each individual student per each assignment.
  • Instructors can copy assignments to another class.
  • Classes with the same assignments can be grouped into families.

eGradebook is NOT able to collect assignments, documents, or files from students or to send emails to the class.

To access eGradebook, go to https://utdirect.utexas.edu/diia/egb/. You will be asked to log in using your UT EID username and password.

The comparison page lists the features, similarities, and differences between eGradebook and Blackboard's gradebook.
