Questions about Error messages
- What does a Broker Error mean?
- If you receive a Broker Error, it means that the system has timed
out.
Please try again.
- I received an email saying,
"The FINAL GRADE value you are uploading for student UTEID... is
not a valid final grade value for this student's final grade schema."
What does this mean?
- This warnings only display when uploading a spreadsheet during final
grade submission time, and is not an error to be overly concerned about.
If the spreadsheet's "Final Grade Calculation" column is blank
and final grade submission is open, the email is warning that the blank
is not considered a valid format for a Final Grade.
- What if I get another error in eGradebook not
listed above?
- Please copy and paste the error into an email and send it to us at
egb@utlists.utexas.edu.
