ABOUT

~FAST Tex program

Faculty And Student Teams for Technology (~FAST Tex) is an annual DIIA grant and support program where faculty are awarded time with tech-savvy students who are paid to build instructional technologies for use in courses at The University of Texas at Austin. To date, ~FAST Tex projects have impacted over 87,000 students. The student technologists come from a range of academic disciplines and are trained and mentored by ~FAST Tex staff.

Each year, a new call for faculty proposals is announced. Faculty should contact the ~FAST Tex manager for consultation and assistance with the proposal process. Details of the application process and program timeline can be found in the faculty information section. Students interested in joining the program as a developer can apply through the Digital Media Internship.

For questions, please contact Coco Kishi, 475-6050.
