ABOUT~FAST Tex programFaculty And Student Teams for Technology (~FAST Tex) is an annual DIIA grant and support program where faculty are awarded time with tech-savvy students who are paid to build instructional technologies for use in courses at The University of Texas at Austin. To date, ~FAST Tex projects have impacted over 87,000 students. The student technologists come from a range of academic disciplines and are trained and mentored by ~FAST Tex staff. Each year, a new call for faculty proposals is announced. Faculty should contact the ~FAST Tex manager for consultation and assistance with the proposal process. Details of the application process and program timeline can be found in the faculty information section.
