2008 Graduate Student Colloquium Call for Proposals

At the beginning of each academic year DIIA sponsors a colloquium for graduate students. DIIA welcomes proposal submissions for this year's colloquium, Creating Meaningful Learning, from any academic discipline. The Call for Proposals is now available.

ASPECTS

What do the twenty-nine different sessions offered through the ASPECTS Certificate Series have in common? They are all “highly informative” according to graduate students who took advantage of this free resource last semester. Indeed, “informative” was the most commonly cited adjective that participants used when evaluating the ASPECTS sessions they attended.

And “informative” is exactly what ASPECTS was designed to do – to inform, in a practical and highly motivational way – so that graduate student instructors know how to plan, deliver, and assess diverse ways to enhance their students' learning.

Have you signed up for ASPECTS yet? Check out the variety of pedagogical and professional development topics we offer. You can register online in seconds. Your peers tell us that ASPECTS is “useful,” “thought-provoking,” and “a good use of time.” And did we mention “highly informative”?
