FAQs: Frequently Asked Questions for ASPECTS Presenters

How do I know if the room I am scheduled in has the necessary technology that I will need for my session?

Review the instructional technologies available in the room where you are scheduled to present. ASPECTS has made a concerted effort to schedule sessions in technology-rich classrooms with all the tools a presenter may need.

If you have specific technology or audiovisual needs, please contact Rachel Barrera (rachel@austin.utexas.edu or 232-1771) immediately so that arrangements can be made.

When will evaluation packets be delivered to my office?

Evaluation packets are delivered on Mondays for sessions occurring that week.

What if my evaluation packet was mistakenly delivered to the wrong office?

If you have not received your packet by 9 a.m. on Monday, please contact Josh Iorio (joshiorio@austin.utexas.edu or 232-1772). If there are any changes to your location or contact information, please update the x500 directory.

What can I do to make the evaluation process more efficient?

Please remind students of the following:

  1. Enter the course unique number on the evaluation.
  2. Bubble in the circles and not to check, circle, or underline a choice.
  3. Use the provided pencils.
Where do I send the evaluation forms?

Please turn in your evaluation packets (completed evaluation forms, left-over blank forms, pencils, and attendance sheet) to Josh Iorio in MAI 2205 as soon as possible after your session.

What if I can’t drop off the evaluation forms to MAI 2205?

Contact Josh Iorio (joshiorio@austin.utexas.edu or 232-1772) if you're not able to drop off the evaluation forms to MAI 2205. He will happily pick them up from you.

Should I send the evaluations via campus mail?

Please do not send the evaluation forms via campus mail because they are at risk of being damaged. Damaged evaluation forms cannot be read by Scantron.

What if I have not received my evaluation packet before my scheduled session?

In the event that you do not receive your evaluation packet before your scheduled session, you can print the ASPECTS Post-Session Evaluation Form (PDF).

These forms should be used only as a last resort because they have to be transferred by hand to the appropriate Scantron forms.

What if I still have questions regarding evaluations?

Please direct all queries concerning the ASPECTS evaluation process to Josh Iorio (joshiorio@austin.utexas.edu or 232-1772).

I would like to view the current description and objectives for my session, where can I access them?

View your session information available to registrants from list of ASPECTS sessions. Click on the title of your session to read the description and objectives.

I have reviewed the online description and objectives for my session but it no longer matches the content of what I present, how do I update the online information for my session?

If this description does not accurately reflect your session, then make the necessary changes and send them to Josh Iorio (joshiorio@austin.utexas.edu or 232-1772). This will ensure consistency of the session descriptions and the content of the sessions allowing attendees to be accurately informed of the sessions they plan to attend.

What if I have to change my scheduled session or have a question regarding the location of my session?

Questions about ASPECTS session scheduling or session location please contact Rachel Barrera (rachel@austin.utexas.edu or 232-1771).
