~FAST Tex 2008 Call for Proposal

The Division of Instructional Innovation and Assessment invites faculty to submit proposals for the 2008 Faculty And Student Teams for Technology program. ~FAST Tex pairs tech-savvy students from a wide range of academic disciplines with faculty to work as teams to develop instructional projects for use in UT Austin courses.

Projects proposed may describe any of the following:

  • Simulations and games
  • 2-D and 3-D animations
  • Interactive tutorials and exercises
  • Instructional DVDs
  • Assessment applications
  • Content creation and production
  • Course and department resource Web sites (non-Blackboard)
  • Video and audio collections

Proposals may be submitted online.The deadline for submission is March 10, but we urge you to start the process early to allow time for consultation and project planning with ~FAST Tex staff.
