Creating new questions

Can I create my own questions?
Yes. Use the Question Builder link to create your own question, and the Question Response Set Creator link to create your own response options.
Can I edit a question that has not yet been added to a template?
Yes, you can edit a question that has not been added to a template by choosing Personal Library from the Navigation Bar. Locate the question and click on the Edit link on the right side of the web page, if it is available.
Can I edit a question that HAS already been added to a template?

Once you have added the question to a template, the Edit link will not appear as an option on the Personal Library. At this point, you have three options.

  1. You can create a new question.
  2. You can edit the question after you remove it from the template(s) associated with that question.
  3. You can edit the question after you delete the template that it is attached to, and any survey results. (See the Removing a template tutorial for more information.)

Note: To delete the template, you must first delete any Survey Results that are attached to it. (See the Deleting survey results tutorial for more information.)
