Sharing What Works Seminars

Large Classroom Initiative Colloquium
DIIA organized a three-day large classes colloquium of selected faculty, graduate students, and DIIA instructional staff to brainstorm together and gather information to help professors thrive in the large classroom environment.

Enhancing Communication Through Technology
DIIA and the College of Education sponsored a one-day seminar on the role of communicaton in learning, and how technology can promote communication in small classes.

Dodging Death by PowerPoint
This practical DIIA workshop offers PowerPoint tiemesavers, design and development tips, and pointers on how to instruct with this oftren misused presentation tool for effective learning. Included is an online step-by-step tutorial, examples, and links to further resources.

Sharing What Works in IITAP
Complementing DIIA's peer-to-peer instructional seminar initiative, Sharing What Works became a category in IITAP, the Innovative Instructional Technology Awards program, and a celebration of success stories resulting from the introduction of technology into the teaching and learning process.
