Kristi D. Fisher

Associate Vice Provost and Director

Kristi has been with IMA since October 2006.  Beyond her traditional role as director of the institutional research operation and as UT’s reporting official, Kristi also manages a technical staff that is responsible for the institution's census date reporting systems and faculty databases and information systems.  She oversees data development, stewardship, and analysis for the academic information in UT's enterprise-wide data warehouse and business intelligence initiative, Project IQ, for which she is a project sponsor.  Kristi began working for the University of Texas at Austin in 1990, first as a computer programmer and, eventually, a senior systems analyst.  In addition to her work experience in higher education systems analysis and design, Kristi spent several years at the University of Texas at Tyler and with UT System Administration where she performed a broad array of administrative roles including information systems implementation, process improvement facilitation, project management, internal audit, and institutional compliance.

Javier Ramos

Senior Office Assistant

Javier Ramos has been the Undergraduate Assistant in IMA for the last 2 years.  He is heavily involved in the Statistical Handbook process, as well as many of the ad hoc requests that come to the office.
