Tracy Brown

Associate Director for Faculty Information

Tracy has been with the University since 1994, most recently with the College of Liberal Arts.  In Liberal Arts she led the IT team involved with faculty initiatives, such as faculty profiles and an online teaching awards system.  She joined IMA in August 2010 as an Associate Director leading the Development team Portal initiative. The Portal provides a comprehensive, integrated faculty and student information system which effectively supports the administration of career activities, including reports, an individual profile and operational academic support systems.  The team's current projects revolve around improving accessibility to university data for internal and external constituents of the university. 

 

Rebecca Bryant

Social Science/Humanities Research Associate III

Rebecca has been with IMA since January of 2011.  As a member of the Research and Policy Analysis Consortium (RPAC), she works with researchers from other areas of the University to inform educational policy decisions, in sustaining student academic achievement, persistence, and graduation, through the effective use of enrollment management data.  Rebecca has her Master of Arts in Sociology and worked as a researcher in K-12 education prior to coming to UT.

 

Cheryl Fuller

Assistant Director for Faculty Information

Cheryl began her career at The University of Texas at Austin in 1988 in the Data Processing Department.  She was initially assigned to the DEFINE team and helped to bring up the first electronic documents.  She also enhanced DEFINE electronic document routing capabilities and was in charge of UT Appointments for seven years.  Since 1999 she has led faculty career management projects sponsored by the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost and played a key role in the development of the Organizational Hierarchy System.  Cheryl is now part of the IMA team developing applications supporting the administration of faculty career activities.
 

Kyung Huh

Senior Software Developer/Analyst

Kyung started work at the University in 2002, and joined IMA in 2011.  Prior to IMA, he was with the Center for Teaching and Learning and led the technical development of the Course - Instructor Survey (eCIS/CIS) systems and courseware applications such as the eGradebook and Ongoing Course Assessment (OCA).  Kyung is currently working on a variety of projects, including the development of the Graduate Student information System.

 

Janice Mitcham

Software Developer/Analyst

Janice is a Software Developer who has been with IMA since December 2005.  Prior to that, she worked in software development and software quality assurance at several Austin companies.  She is currently part of the team developing applications supporting the administration of faculty career activities.

  

Tim Schnell

Software Developer/Analyst

Tim began working at UT in January, 2009.   He joined IMA in September 2010 as a Software/Developer Analyst after working as an Information Analyst with the College of Liberal Arts.  He is the lead python developer on the team, also teaching python classes with ITS Applications, and is developing applications supporting the administration of faculty career activities.
 

Chapman Shoop

Software Developer/Analyst

Chapman started at the University as an Information Analyst Trainee in 2008. After graduating from the training program he maintained and developed software for the Course Instructor Survey System at the Center for Teaching and Learning. In late 2010 Chapman joined IMA and has been writing web applications and reports for graduate student data using Python/Django and Natural/ADABAS.
