The Office of Information Management and Analysis (IMA) is a group of knowledgeable and resourceful technical, research, and administrative personnel committed to providing accurate, timely, and useful management information and analytical support to the University community and its internal and external stakeholders.
IMA is the central point of contact for official campus statistics and serves as a major repository for information on students, faculty, courses, semester credit hour production, degrees awarded, and facilities utilization. IMA gathers, analyzes, interprets and publishes these data for use in planning, performance assessment, and decision-making. Additionally, IMA compiles and reports data requested by the State Legislature, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, the U.S. Department of Education, other state and federal agencies, and the news media.
While we work to satisfy all internal and external data requests, our priority is to support the policy decisions of university leaders, such as the President, Provost, Deans, and Vice Presidents. To that end, IMA also plays a key role in supplying academic trend data to facilitate planning in the colleges and schools through collaboration with Project IQ (UT EID Required).
The Office of Information Management and Analysis reports directly to the Senior Vice Provost for Resource Management .
