Karen Weisbrodt

Assistant Director for Student Data Initiatives

Karen Weisbrodt started work at the University in 1997, joining IMA in 2007. Karen has spent much of her time at IMA on the IT Services team as the primary steward of the census date snapshot of class, instructor, and student information each semester, and the loading of the data into Information Quest. She now heads the Student Data Initiatives team, whose current projects revolve around graduate and undergraduate student data, with a focus on capturing new data elements and improving accessibility to the data for internal and external constituents of the university.
 

Kyung Huh

Senior Software Developer/Analyst

Kyung started work at the University in 2002, and joined IMA in 2011.  Prior to IMA, he was with the Center for Teaching and Learning and led the technical development of the Course - Instructor Survey (eCIS/CIS) systems and courseware applications such as the eGradebook and Ongoing Course Assessment (OCA).  Kyung is on the Student Data Initiatives team working on the development of information collection and reports of graduate student data for program assessment.

 

Mark Ramon

Software Developer/Analyst

Mark started work at the University in 2005 and developed and maintained software for the Credit by Exam and Course Instructor Survey areas of the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL).  In December of 2010, Mark joined the Student Data Initiatives team and now develops software in support of the graduate program assessment project. 

 

Chapman Shoop

Software Developer/Analyst

Chapman started at the University as an Information Analyst Trainee in 2008. After graduating from the training program he maintained and developed software for the Course Instructor Survey System at the Center for Teaching and Learning. In late 2010 Chapman joined the Student Data Initiatives team and has been writing web applications and reports for graduate student data using Python/Django and Natural/ADABAS.

 

Rebecca Bryant

Social Science/Humanities Research Associate III

Rebecca has been with IMA since January of 2011.  As a member of the Research and Policy Analysis Consortium (RPAC), she works with researchers from other areas of the University to inform educational policy decisions, in sustaining student academic achievement, persistence, and graduation, through the effective use of enrollment management data.  Rebecca has her Master of Arts in Sociology and worked a researcher in K-12 education prior to coming to UT.
