Michener Center for Writers

Cristina García

Cristina García (Fall 2010) is the author of five novels:  Dreaming in Cuban, The Agüero Sisters, Monkey Hunting, A Handbook to Luck and The Lady Matador’s Hotel. She is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, a Hodder Fellowship at Princeton University, a Whiting Writers’ Award, and a grant from the NEA, among other honors.
