Welcome to the Course-Instructor Survey Homepage


The survey periods for Summer 2009 will be:

  • First Six-Week Session: July 3-9

  • Nine-Week Session: July22-28

  • Second Six-week Session: August 10-14

  • Whole-summer Session: August 10-14

If you would like an early survey, please email cis@utlists.utexas.edu , and an early survey will be prepared for you. Be sure to include the Course ID, Unique #, Instructor Name, Form preferred, and total enrollment for the course.

The survey request system will open June 8, 2009. Closing dates are:

  • First Six-Week Session:June 12

  • Nine-Week Session: June 18

  • Second Six-week Session: July 17

  • Whole-summer Session: July 17

To access the request system, go to https://utdirect.utexas.edu/diia/ecis/admin/ and click on the "Add Summer Paper CIS Records" link in the Navigation Menu. To request electronic CIS, please email instructor EID, course unique number, and form preference to cis@utlists.utexas.edu . Instructors, please convey your survey requests to your department before the survey request system's closing date.

Course-Instructor Surveys are provided to any instructor at the University of Texas who either wishes or is required to administer a survey. The main purposes of the survey are:

  1. to provide the instructor with feedback from his or her students.
  2. to permit statistical analyses concerning instruction in a school or college as a whole.
  3. to provide students with information about specific instructors.
