Research, Evaluation and Assessment Resources

DIIA Instructional Assessment and Evaluation Process

The DIIA Instructional Assessment and Evaluation Process is based on research best practice and forms a basis for assessment and evaluation activities within the division. The process is applicable to assessment specific instructional activities such as a course assignment or lecture as well as evaluating the outcomes of instructional programs. We recommend using this process when conducting any type of instructional assessment or evaluation.

View a summary of the nine-step process or download our brochure (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader).

DIIA Instructional Assessment Resources (IAR)

The Instructional Assessment Resources are for faculty, staff, and students needing guidance in the assessment of classroom instruction, instructional technologies, or instructional programs. Individuals conducting educational research or developing an evaluation plan for a research grant will also find this site useful.
