How to obtain electronic copies of scanned results
Once you've had your test scanned, you should receive an email entitled,
"DIIA Scanning Services Processing Completed for #####". Within
that email is a link to the Scanning Services Output
Retrieval page (the "Output
Page"). From the Output page, you can send files to your Webspace
account, for uploading into Blackboard.
It is no longer necessary to "set up" your Webspace
account prior to retrieving files. However, if you have not
logged in to your UT Webspace account
since June 22, 2008 please do so now. This will activate
your Webspace account, and allow the system to automatically create an "eReports" folder
to receive your output.
|

|
Enter your UT EID as the username,
and your UT EID password as the password. This user's eid is "denag".
Then click "OK". |
Your Webspace page will load, displaying your name and your UTEID
|
 |
|
Retrieving your files
Now, you're ready to go to the Output
Page and send the files to your Webspace!
The email you received should say:
Thank you for using the DIIA Scanning Services.
Forms for 02095 have been scanned and processing completed
on 11/20/2008 at 3:07:22PM.
(Note: File names do not change after a rescore.)
You may retrieve your output by going to:
https://utdirect.utexas.edu/diia/egb/scanning_output.WBX.
Please contact scanning.office@austin.utexas.edu with
your questions.
Dates, times, and unique number will be different of course.
Click on the link in the email, and you will go to the
Output Page:
|
 |
You will have output listed for each job you have had scanned.
Click the "Select" button for the job
you want, then click the
"Retrieve Output" button. (If you have
more than one job, DO NOT try to send them all
at once! Send one job, then send the next, etc.) |
Once you've retrieved your output, you should see the confirmation
screen below.
|
 |
The green confirmation line could be very important! Make a
note of the 5-digit job number. If your job doesn't run correctly,
the jobnumber is the only way for the programmers to find out what
went wrong.
|
Now, go back to your Webspace account,
login with your EID, and double-click on eReports. You should see
three files.
|
 |
Double-click on the file that has "ROSTER" in
its name. If the file opens in Notepad, then you can choose "File>Save
as..." and save it to your computer. Otherwise, just choose "Save
File", and save it to your computer.
|
Now you're ready to upload to Blackboard! Go
to the DIIA
Scanned Results Import Tool and follow the directions to import
the file you just saved. For more help, see the Blackboard
support Site. |
