UT Austin - Statistical Handbook 1995 - 1996

The Statistical Handbook is designed to provide University administrators and faculty with accurate and consistent
information about UT Austin's student, faculty, staff, and financial characteristics. In many cases the information is
disaggregated to program or department levels to facilitate use in policy making at these levels. Data for up to ten years
are included where possible so that significant trends can be identified.

Data on student characteristics are provided, including ethnicity, gender, age, residency, and major. In addition,
application, admission, and enrollment data are presented, along with SAT and National Merit figures. Student flow

This section provides data on semester credit hours produced by semester, college, academic area, and level. In addition,
Fall student FTEs and average courseloads are presented. Undergraduate instructional patterns are also given.
