Established in 1984, The University of Texas at Austin Study in Italy Program is an interdisciplinary program sponsored by the University of Texas School of Architecture and the College of Liberal Arts.
With its home base in the hills of Tuscany, the program presents students with a unique understanding of Italy's profound influence on the development of Western civilization through the exploration of art, history, architecture, philosophy, and culture. The summer program is administered and taught by faculty of the School of Architecture and College of Liberal Arts. The fall program is taught by faculty of the School of Architecture.
