Will UT Austin accept another college's assessment test?

Yes, UT Austin will accept all tests approved by The Higher Education Coordinating Board – THEA, ASSET, COMPASS, ACCUPLACER.

Your scores should be listed on your college transcript. It is your responsibility to ask your college to send an official transcript to UT Austin. Official test scores also may be sent to:

We also accept faxed scores if they are sent directly from the college you attended. Our fax number is: 512-471-4990.

If you took THEA or Quick THEA (or TASP) and did not have the scores sent to UT Austin, let us know so we can retrieve the scores through National Evaluation Systems.
