Please note: This blanket agreement is issued to Sun Microsystems. Sun Microsystems has decided to use its HUB Iforce Partners to resell its products in accordance with the discount structure, terms and conditions of this blanket agreement. The University of Texas at Austin 's resellers are Petrosys Solutions (HUB status: HIF) located in Bellaire , TX and Agilent Solutions, Ltd. (HUB Status: ASF) located in Round Rock, TX.

  • No dollar restrictions.
  • As Texas A&M University has already obtained competitive bids, no additional bids are required.

How to order:
A PB document must be processed prior to placing the order – a PO number is required to place the order. The only exception is for procard orders up to the maximum single purchase limit. The PO will be issued to Petrosys Solutions, VID # 17605156946009, or to Agilent Solutions, VID #17606250151004.

Orders may be placed:

  • By faxing Purchase order to (713) 355-3997 for Petrosys or to (832) 448-3206 for Agilent.
  • By mailing Purchase order to:

All purchase orders must reference "PO number 2006C00835MPFGS" to show order is placed as part of the blanket agreement.

For any dollar amount over $5000:

  • Orders are processed on PB4 documents.
    A hard copy of pricing obtained from Petrosys or Agilent must be forwarded to your buyer, noting document ID of your purchasing document. Note Reference PO number "2006C00835 MPFGS" in the remarks for paper copy. No other paperwork required.

The FOB on all orders should be Destination, freight prepaid & allowed (included).
Delivery time is:
Stock items 5-7 days
Installation of stock items 5-15 days
Non-stock items 10-14 days
Installation of non-stock items 10-30 days.

For training
or onsite
demonstrations:
Contact Irene Griffith with Petrosys or Shirin Pourfathi with Agilent Solutions after purchase to schedule training or onsite demonstrations.
Returns: Return authorization/freight call tags will be provided to each customer as needed. All Returns to be with full credit issued and no restocking charges assessed. Vendor is completely responsible for return of faulty components.
Warranty: Manufacturer’s points of contact to be provided for service needed and Sun/Petrosys/Agilent will assist with manufacturers’ warranties as follows:
  • Desktops & workstations 3 years, next business day/8 hours
  • Enterprise servers: 1 year, business hours/4 hours
  • Entry level servers: 1-3 years, business hours, next business day
  • High end servers: 1 year, 7X24, 4 hours
  • Midrange servers: 1-3 years, business hours-7X24/4 hours
  • Network storage: 1-2 years, response time varies
Installation
& related
Services:
As needed or requested, Sun/Petrosys/Agilent will provide pricing for installation to include quoted technician prices and materials specific to installation. All technicians providing installation services shall be certified and licensed as required by manufacturer. One supervisor shall be on site at all times during installation.
