Sun Microsystems Equipment & Services

Note: This blanket agreement is issued to Sun Microsystems. Sun Microsystems has decided to use its historically underutilized business (HUB), Iforce Partners, to resell its products in accordance with the discount structure, terms and conditions of this blanket agreement. The University of Texas at Austin's resellers are Petrosys Solutions (HUB status: HIF) located in Bellaire , TX and Agilet Solutions, Ltd. (HUB Status: ASF) located in Round Rock, TX.

Contract Coverage
This contract covers Sun Microsystems computers, storage, networking and security equipment, and services.

  • There are no dollar restrictions.
  • As Texas A&M University has already obtained competitive bids, no additional bids are required.

Ordering
A PB document must be processed prior to placing the order—a Purchase Order (PO) number is required to place the order. The only exception is for procard orders up to the maximum single purchase limit. The PO will be issued to Petrosys Solutions, VID # 17605156946009, or to Agilet Solutions, VID #17606250151004.

All POs must reference "PO number 2006C00835MPFGS" to show order is placed as part of the blanket agreement.

Orders over $5000

  • Orders are processed on PB4 documents. A hard copy of pricing obtained from Petrosys or Agilet must be forwarded to your buyer, noting the document ID of your purchasing document.

    Note: Reference PO number "2006C00835 MPFGS" in the remarks for paper copy. No other paperwork is required.

  • The FOB on all orders should be Destination, freight prepaid & allowed (included).

  • Delivery time is

    • Stock items, 5-7 days.
    • Installation of stock items, 5-15 days.
    • Nonstock items, 10-14 days.
    • Installation of nonstock items, 10-30 days.

  • Training. For training and onsite demonstrations, contact Irene Griffith with Petrosys or Shirin Pourfathi with Agilet Solutions after purchase to schedule training or onsite demonstrations.

  • Returns. Return authorization/freight call tags will be provided to each customer as needed. All returns to be with full credit issued and no restocking charges assessed. The vendor is completely responsible for return of faulty components.

  • Installation and Related Services. As needed or requested, Sun/Petrosys/Agilent will provide pricing for installation to include quoted technician prices and materials specific to installation. All technicians providing installation services shall be certified and licensed as required by manufacturer. One supervisor shall be on site at all times during installation.

  • Warranties. Manufacturer's points of contact are to be provided for service needed and Sun/Petrosys/Agilet will assist with manufacturers’ warranties as follows:
