“There are two ways of spreading light - to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.”
~ Edith Wharton ~ |

| This quote captures the heart of why we, The University of Texas POM Squad, have adopted a route with Austin’s Meals on Wheels and More. They are an independent and locally-run organization that serves homebound senior citizens in central Texas. |

Their light has been shining now for 35 years, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to use our mirrors to reflect some more of their light out into the Austin community… with a burnt orange tint of course!
Miss Mary, one of the clients on our route, graciously welcomes us into her home every Friday afternoon. “It’s volunteers like ya’ll that make it easy for me to live by myself,” she said, “Thank you girls so much!” |

As a spirit organization on campus, it is important that we not only support Longhorn athletics, but we also value supporting the greater Austin community as well. We are so grateful for this opportunity to serve others as we continue to uphold the philanthropic values of The Universty of Texas. Hook ‘Em!
