AUSTIN TECHNOLOGY INCUBATOR ADDS INNOVENT, AN ENTREPRENEURIAL INNOVATION UNIT IN NOKIA TO ADVISORY BOARD Austin, TX (September 23, 2005) – The Austin Technology Incubator (ATI), a business incubator providing resources and professional services to assist its technology startups to compete in the global marketplace today announced that Innovent, an entrepreneurial innovation unit in Nokia has joined the ATI. “We are pleased to welcome Innovent to our community,” said Erin Defosse, Director, I.T. and Wireless Division, of the ATI. “We share a common commitment to supporting early stage entrepreneurs working to commercialize technologies that will impact the future of how we connect to each other and our world around us.” As part of the arrangement, Stephanie Keller-Bottom, Director of Innovent joins the Advisory Board of the ATI, bringing ATI and its portfolio companies the perspective of a world leader in mobile communications. ATI advises early-stage, high-risk companies and provides the necessary assistance to help their technology-based ventures succeed. ATI, a strategic partnership of industry, government, and The University of Texas at Austin, works with a variety of investors, a know-how network of professional service providers, outside industry experts, and others, for the benefit of its member companies.
