13.2. PAYROLL - GENERAL INFORMATION

Payroll Services at The University of Texas at Austin is responsible for overseeing the payroll process for all employees and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and policies. This includes monitoring salary payments, which are encumbered, and wage payments, which are not encumbered. Payroll Services processes monthly and semi-monthly payments, depending on whether an employee is salaried or hourly, and also issues replacement paychecks when required.

All employees of The University of Texas at Austin are required to provide information that is used in the payroll process and for employment-related reporting. To update personal information related to the payroll process, employees who have upgraded UT EIDs can use My Paycheck Profile, and employees who do not have upgraded UT EIDs can use the Payroll Services Employee Information Form (PSEI).
