Equipment Insurance Annual Renewal for 2006-07

It is time for departments to renew their equipment insurance for next fiscal year. The Equipment Insurance Annual Renewal (EIAR) system will be open for updates starting July 5, 2006 and ending August 15, 2006 at 5:00 p.m.

Changes made through EIAR will be effective September 1, 2006. Any items that are not renewed through this system will not be insured for next year. Therefore, you must use EIAR and take an action on each item that is to be insured.

NOTE: Equipment policy renewal negotiations are in progress.  The policy information listed on the equipment insurance website is current through September 1, 2006.  Decisions as to whether to insure your equipment items may be affected by potential changes to premium rate, deductibles, exclusions, and other factors. Come to a DE 438 class to learn more.

DE 438 classes for the 2006 renewal period will be offered:

• Thursday, June 29 from 8:30-10 in COM 8
• Thursday, July 6 from 3-4:30 in COM 8
