Equipment Insurance Annual Renewal for 2007-08

It is time for departments to renew their equipment insurance for next fiscal year. The Equipment Insurance Annual Renewal (EIAR) system will be open for updates starting Aug. 6 and ending Aug. 23, 2007 at 5:00 p.m.

Changes made through EIAR will be effective Nov. 1, 2007. Any items that are not renewed through this system will not be insured for next year. Therefore, you must use EIAR and take an action on each item that is to be insured.

NOTE: Equipment policy renewal negotiations are in progress.  The policy information listed on the equipment insurance Web site will be updated once negotiations are final. Decisions as to whether to insure your equipment items may be affected by potential changes to premium rates, deductibles, exclusions, and other factors. Come to a DE 438 class to learn more.

DE 438 classes for the 2007-08 renewal period will be offered.

• Aug. 7; 3:30–5 p.m.; ACES 2.402  
• Aug. 10; 2:00–3:30 p.m.; ACES 2.402
