Budget Office Calendar - Fiscal Year 2003-2004

The following schedule is established in order to meet the deadlines for UT System review and for approval by the Board of Regents.

February 11, 2003	Campus-wide budget meeting (Texas Union Theatre) (10 - 11:30 am)
	Status quo budget instructions distributed to departments
On these dates	All budgets are due to the Budget Office
March 28	All non-academic budgets, including Vice President Offices
March 31	Architecture, Social Work, Law, LBJ School, Nursing, Pharmacy, School of Information
April 4	Education, Fine Arts, Communication
April 7	Engineering, McCombs School of Business, Liberal Arts, Natural Sciences
Late May	Legislative appropriations finalized Campus-wide budget meeting
	Final budget instructions and salary policy sent to departments
June 2 ­ 6	Major Goals/Policy hearing with System Administration
June 9 ­ 13	Final budgets due to Budget Office
June 20	Draft budgets due to System Administration
June 30 ­ July 8	Technical budget hearings with System Administration
July 14	Final budget due to System Administration
August 6-7	UT Board of Regents approves budget
August 15	Final budget as approved by Regents due to
	System Administration for copying and binding
