Budget Office Calendar Fiscal Year 2004-2005

The following schedule is established in order to meet the deadlines for UT System review and for approval by the Board of Regents.

March 5	Campus-wide budget meeting (Hogg Auditorium) (10 – 11:30 am) Budget instructions distributed to departments
Late March or Early April	All Budget Due to the Budget Office
March 29th	All non-academic budgets, including Vice President Offices
March 29th	Architecture, Social Work, Law, LBJ School, Nursing, Pharmacy, School of Information
April 2nd	Education, Fine Arts, Communication
April 5th	Engineering, McCombs School of Business, Liberal Arts, Natural Sciences
Early April	Major Goals/Policy hearing with System Administration
April 30	Draft budgets due to System Administration
Early May	Technical budget hearings with System Administration
May 28	Final budget due to System Administration
June-July	Preparation of Legislative Appropriations Request
August 12	UT Board of Regents approves budget
August 20	Final budget as approved by Regents due to
	System Administration for copying and binding
