Am I required to complete the Assignment Information of the Recruiting Summary?

The Assignment (appointment) Information of the Recruiting Summary’s Hire section is optional during Phase 1. The appointment can be generated through HRMS or may be processed in *DEFINE. If users choose to complete the optional Assignment Information through HRMS, all fields must be complete. Users will be notified through e-mail if further action is required to finalize appointments in *DEFINE.  Appointments requiring Departmental Coding will always require further action in *DEFINE.

How do I determine Percent Time when completing the Salary Information of a Recruiting Summary’s Hire section?

Percent Time should equal the percentage of the total number of hours for the assignment in relation to 40 hours per week. Please see the table below for examples of allocating Percent Time.
