To help you quickly and accurately recognize and access information, HRMS employs a variety of symbols. Some provide functional assistance; others represent ideas and concepts.
These icons appear throughout HRMS and direct the user to information and data:
The Help icon provides access to information on specific, context-level topics. When you click on the icon, a new window opens and offers assistance with the associated term or concept.
This general lookup icon signals access to lists, tabular data, specialized information, etc.
Calendar lookups allow you to automatically fill date fields by selecting the specific date.
The up/down arrows are used to reverse the order of tabular data.
This set of icons, used in various HRMS locations, indicates the time span for the information presented:
Indicates that past information is available.
Indicates that future information is available.
Indicates that past and future information is available.
The following symbols are used on the Applicant page of a Recruiting Summary to encapsulate information about job applicants:

Veteran information on file
Barred from rehire
Not recommended for rehire
Reemployment history available
Indicates that actions taken in a table have been successful.
Indicates the line has changed.
Directs the user to view or create the Biographical Record.
Indicates that the incumbent has concurrent assignments.
