Reclassify a Position Links
The Reclassify a Position process is used when an A&P/Classified/Teacher/Librarian position's duties and responsibilities have increased or evolved to the point that a new position title is justified. When the position is filled and the incumbent is considered qualified to do the new work, he or she will remain in the reclassified position. If the incumbent is unqualified for the changing duties of the position or if the position is presently unfilled, it can be reclassified as vacant.
